02. Installation of WordPress
First of all if you are all new to WordPress, I would recommend to learn a little bit about it before you get started. Here are some nice Resources on how to get started with WordPress.
Here's also a small screencast of the installation process
03. Theme Installation WordPress
The first option how to install this Theme would be to directly upload the inovado.zip file via WordPress Theme Uploader.
Log into your WordPress backend
Navigate to Appearance > Themes
Click Install Themes
Click Upload
Now you just need to find the "Inovado.zip" in the Upload folder and hit Install now.
If you are experiencing any issues during the installation I would recommend to check out this Screencast by Envato

04. Theme Installation FTP
The second option how to install this Theme would be the upload via FTP manager. It really dosen't matter which of the two ways you choose, just choose the one you feel more comfortable with.
Login to your FTP account and navigate to your WordPress Installation directory
Navigate to the folder /wp-content/themes
Upload the "Inovado" folder (not the .zip-file). This is the folder located inside the "Upload" folder in the zip-file you've downloaded from Themeforest.
Now log into your WordPress backend
Navigate to Appearance > Themes
Find the Theme and click Activate

05. Install & Setup Plugins
So at this stage you have probably noticed a warning, asking you to install recommended plugins. This is needed to get the Slider functionality, Contact Forms, Order Post Formats and use the Blog Post Formats. Installing that is very simple, you just need to click Begin installing plugins and you will be redirected to the plugin installation page where you can install any Plugin you want and need.
06. Importing Demo Data (Optional)
This Theme includes a Demo Data .xml file which allows you to upload some dummy content to your site to help you get started with the Theme and get to know the functionality. Please note, that the .xml file doesn't include images or the slider data. See the slider section & screencast of this documentation on how to set them up.
Log into your WordPress backend
Navigate to Tools > Import
Click on "WordPress". If you haven't imported anything yet, you will need to install "Importer" plugin.
Select the .xml file in the SampleData folder in the zip-file you've downloaded from Themeforest.
Now make sure to Select the Menu in Appearance > Menus and set up "Home" as front page and "Blog" as posts page under Settings > Reading.
Be aware that downloading Dummy Content may take a while, depending on the speed of your internet connection!
07. Theme Options
If you want to change the general Options of the Theme, go to your WordPress Admin Area to Appearance > Theme Options. Here you have a tabbed Navigation where you can change a lot of Options of your new Theme (General, Slider, Styling, Social Media Options)
Notice: Before adjusting the different settings, you should first click on the Save Options button, to insert all default data to the database and make sure everything looks good.
08. Setting up new Pages
Your new Theme comes with some awesome custom page layouts. These layouts can be used on any page you create to give them some special functionalities. To set up a custom page layout go to your WordPress Admin Area and navigate to Pages > Add New. Now you can choose any template you like from the "Page Attributes" on the right side.
